Comfortable, Natural-Looking Tooth Replacement for a Restored Smile
Losing teeth — whether gradually over time or all at once — affects far more than your appearance. It changes the way you eat, the way you speak, and often the way you feel about yourself in everyday life. The good news is that modern dentures have come a long way. Today's custom dentures are more comfortable, more natural-looking, and better fitting than ever before — and they remain one of the most accessible and time-tested solutions for significant tooth loss.
At Boulevard Dental in Clearwater, Dr. Jason Kopakin provides full and partial dentures custom-crafted to restore your smile and your quality of life. Whether you are missing several teeth or all of your teeth on one or both arches, our Clearwater team will design a solution that fits well, looks natural, and holds up to the demands of daily life.
If tooth loss has been affecting your confidence or your ability to eat and speak comfortably, we are here to help.
What Are Dentures & Partials
- Full dentures replace an entire arch of missing teeth — upper, lower, or both — and are recommended when all or nearly all natural teeth in an arch have been lost or need to be removed. They rest on the gum tissue and are held in place through natural suction and the contours of the mouth.
- Partial dentures are used when one or more healthy natural teeth still remain in the arch. Rather than replacing an entire row of teeth, a partial fills in the gaps left by multiple missing teeth while using the remaining natural teeth for support and stability. In addition to restoring the appearance and function of your smile, partials serve an important preventive role — keeping remaining teeth from drifting into the empty spaces and causing further bite problems or tooth loss.
The Denture Process at Boulevard Dental Clearwater
Adjusting to Your New Dentures
- Increased saliva production as your mouth adjusts to the new appliance
- Minor soreness or irritation in the gum tissue at pressure points — which can be relieved with adjustments at our Clearwater office
- Difficulty with certain foods — starting with softer foods and gradually reintroducing your normal diet makes the transition easier
- A temporary change in speech as your tongue and lips adapt to the presence of the denture
